How to Delete or Close a 66 Letter Club Account

· 6 min read

Deleting the app from your phone does not delete a 66 Letter Club account. The account, any balance in it and the payment details linked to it all stay on the operator's side until the account itself is closed. If you have decided to stop, whether for a break or for good, the order in which you do things decides whether you keep your money, your data and your resolve. This article sets out that order.

We are an independent guide and cannot close anyone's account; only the operator can. For everything else about the brand, the 66 Letter Club overview on our homepage links to each step-by-step guide.

Closure, a Break or Self-Exclusion?

People use “delete my account” to mean three different things, and it helps to be clear which one you want before you contact anyone:

Three ways to stop, and what each one does
OptionWhat it meansBest for
Account closureThe account is shut and cannot be used againYou have finished with the platform
Cooling-off breakA pause for a fixed period, then access returnsYou want a reset, not a permanent exit
Self-exclusionA request that the operator blocks you from returningStopping has been hard to stick to

Not every operator offers all three, and the names differ. Ask support which options exist on your account. If stopping has been difficult before, choose the strongest option available rather than the easiest one to reverse.

Step 1: Withdraw Your Balance First

Before asking for closure, withdraw whatever you can. A closed account with money in it turns a simple exit into a dispute. Check three things in the app:

  • Your withdrawable balance, as opposed to bonus credit, which usually cannot be withdrawn until its wagering terms are met.
  • Any pending withdrawals, which you should let complete before closing.
  • Verification status, because an unverified account may need checks before money can leave.

Do not play extra rounds to clear a bonus just so you can close the account. Forfeiting bonus credit is usually cheaper than the betting it takes to unlock it, and continuing to play is the opposite of what you set out to do. If a withdrawal will not go through, the payments guide lists the usual causes.

Step 2: Request Closure Through the Official Channel

Look first in the app's account or settings area for a close or delete option. If your version has one, use it and take a screenshot of the confirmation. If it does not, send a request through the support option inside the signed-in app. Our customer care guide explains how to find that channel and avoid fake support numbers.

A clear closure request includes:

  • your account ID or registered mobile number (never your password),
  • a plain statement that you want the account permanently closed,
  • a request that your personal data be deleted where the operator is able to do so,
  • if relevant, a request for self-exclusion so a new account cannot be opened.

Ask for written confirmation and keep it. If you hear nothing, follow up inside the same ticket. Never pay anyone who offers to close an account for a fee; closure is not a paid service.

Step 3: Cut the Payment Links

Closing the account stops play, but it is your payment apps that stop the money. Spend five minutes here:

  • Check your UPI app for autopay mandates and cancel any you do not recognise or no longer want. Most UPI apps list active mandates in a dedicated section.
  • Remove saved cards or wallets you used for deposits from any browser or app where they are stored.
  • Ask your bank what controls it offers, such as transaction limits or blocks on certain kinds of online payments. Banks differ, so ask rather than assume.

Step 4: Clean Up Your Phone

Uninstall the app, delete any APK file left in your downloads folder, and remove saved passwords and bookmarks for the site. Leave or mute the groups and channels that pushed predictions or offers; they are designed to pull you back. If you reused the same password elsewhere, change it there too.

These steps sound small, but each removes a one-tap route back. When an urge arrives, friction is what gives your earlier decision time to win.

After the Account Is Closed

Expect messages offering a bonus to return. Ignore them, and do not open a new account under a different number, which undoes the point of closing and may breach the operator's own terms. If you notice yourself searching for new platforms, that is a signal worth taking seriously. The safer-play guide lists free support in India, and talking to someone you trust is often the step that makes the decision stick.

If you are simply curious about the format later on, the free demo on this site lets you see a round without an account or any real money. And if you ever do return to any platform, start with the login safety checks rather than a forwarded link.

Play Safely and Responsibly

Choosing to stop is a sound decision, not a failure. Withdraw what you can, close the account in writing, cut the payment links and remove the app. Then let the decision stand without testing it.

Lottery and color prediction games involve real money and real risk. Only adults (18+) should play, results are never guaranteed, and these games are restricted in several Indian states. Read our safer-play guide for budgets, limits and support contacts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does uninstalling the app delete my 66 Letter Club account?

No. Uninstalling only removes the app from your phone. The account, any balance and linked payment details remain until the operator closes the account at your request.

How do I close my account?

Withdraw your balance first, then use a close or delete option in the app if your version has one. Otherwise send a written request through the official support option inside the signed-in app and ask for confirmation.

What happens to bonus credit when I close?

Bonus credit usually cannot be withdrawn until its wagering terms are met, so it is normally forfeited on closure. Playing more to unlock it often costs more than the credit is worth.

Can I ask for my personal data to be deleted?

You can include that request in your closure message. Ask for confirmation in writing. How much the operator can delete may depend on its own legal obligations.

What is the difference between closing and self-exclusion?

Closing shuts one account. Self-exclusion asks the operator to block you from returning, which is stronger if stopping has been hard before. Ask support which options are available.
